Like say there is a site which is selling shoes. So we need to choose the key phrases instead of key words like ‘men’s leather shoe’ etc. We will create a list of such key phrases for each pages, according to the information that page is providing. Next thing is to put those key phrases in the web page. We can put them on the Title tag or Meta tag or in Meta keywords. But we should have also being careful not to use them as excessively.

We can also put the key phrase in between the content of the site also. Still we will have to be careful for not using it excessively.
