Search engine optimization, popularly known as SEO is a process in which a webmaster optimize his website according to some of the important key phrase, such that his website can come to good position in the SERP also known as Search Engine Result Page. Mainly there are two factors while doing search engine optimization. These are known as ON-Page factor and OFF-Page factor.
In On page factor we will first look for some things like the length of the domain names, many people try to get longer domain names to incorporate as many of their keywords in the URL. This creates some major drawbacks, like:
Recalling the URL becomes difficult, even for the webmaster also. It is a known thing that Yahoo rejects domain submissions which is over 54 characters. Also some versions of Netscape will not open pages with domain name character lengths over 59 characters. So first thing to watch is to keep the domain name length to 55 characters or less.
